Description
Human Hec1 is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A component of the kinetochore outer layer
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Kinetochore protein NDC80 homolog; Highly expressed in cancer protein; Kinetochore protein Hec1; HsHec1; Kinetochore-associated protein 2; Retinoblastoma-associated protein HEC
Synonyms: Kinetochore protein NDC80 homolog; Highly expressed in cancer protein; Kinetochore protein Hec1; HsHec1; Kinetochore-associated protein 2; Retinoblastoma-associated protein HEC
Background Information: Hec1 is a component of the kinetochore outer layer, which is required for chromosome segregation and spindle checkpoint activity. It is required for kinetochore integrity and the organization of stable microtubule binding sites in the outer plate of the kinetochore. It is overexpressed in a variety of human cancers and maybe used for the prognosis of primary breast cancer.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 1 mg/ml.
