Description

Human CellExp™ SERPIN A3, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

Involved in inhibition of neutrophil cathepsin G and mast cell chymase

Biomolecule/Target: SERPIN A3

Alternates names: SERPINA3, ACT, AACT, GIG24, GIG25

Synonyms: SERPINA3, ACT, AACT, GIG24, GIG25

Background Information: Serpin A3 is also known as Alpha-1-antichymotrypsin (ACT or AACT), Cell growth-inhibiting gene 24/25 protein, which belongs to the serpin family. Serpin A3 can bind DNA. Although its physiological function is unclear, it can inhibit neutrophil cathepsin G and mast cell chymase, both of which can convert angiotensin-1 to the active angiotensin-2.

Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile PBS, pH 7.4 to a concentration of 50 µg/ml. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 month. For extended storage, it is recommended to store at -20°C.

NCBI Gene Symbol: SERPINA3
