Description

FGF-12, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

Plays an important role in intracellular signaling and ion exchange

Biomolecule/Target: FGF12

Alternates names: FHF1, FGF12B, Fibroblast growth factor 12

Synonyms: FHF1, FGF12B, Fibroblast growth factor 12

Background Information: FGF12 (Fibroblast growth factor 12) is a member of the FGF superfamily of molecules which currently stands at 22 members. The FGF family members possess broad mitogenic and cell survival activities, and are involved in a variety of biological processes, including embryonic development, cell growth, morphogenesis, tissue repair, tumor growth, and invasion. FGF12 binds to IB2 (islet brain-2), a cellular kinase scaffold, and voltage gated sodium channels and also plays an important role in intracellular signaling and ion exchange. Recombinant human FGF12 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
