Description
WISP-1, Human Recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Belongs to CCN family of cysteine rich regulatory proteins.
Biomolecule/Target: WISP-1
Alternates names: WNT-1 inducible signaling pathway protein-1, CCN4, Wnt-1-induced secreted protein, WISP-1
Synonyms: WNT-1 inducible signaling pathway protein-1, CCN4, Wnt-1-induced secreted protein, WISP-1
Background Information: WISP-1 is a member of the CCN family of secreted cysteine rich regulatory proteins. It is expressed in the heart, kidney, lung, pancreas, placenta, ovary, small intestine and spleen. WISP-1 is a β-catenin regulated protein that can contribute to tumorigenesis and has also been shown to play a role in bone development and fracture repair. Human WISP-1 is a 38.1 kDa protein containing 346 amino acid residues. It is composed of four distinct structural domains (modules); the IGF binding protein (IGFBP) domain, the von Willebrand Factor-C (VWFC) domain, the thrombospondin type-1 repeat (TSP type-1) domain, and a C-terminal cysteine knot-like (CTCK) domain.
Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Note: Slow to dissolve. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 week. For extended storage, it is recommended to further dilute in a buffer containing a carrier protein (example 0.1% BSA) and store in working aliquots at -20°C to -80°C.
