Description
TREM2, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines
Biomolecule/Target: TREM2
Alternates names: Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2, Trem2a, Trem2b, Trem2c
Synonyms: Triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2, Trem2a, Trem2b, Trem2c
Background Information: TREM2 is a membrane protein that forms a receptor signaling complex with the TYRO protein tyrosine kinase binding protein. The protein functions in immune response and maybe involved in chronic inflammation by triggering the production of constitutive inflammatory cytokines. Defects in this gene are a cause of polycystic lipomembranous osteodysplasia with sclerosing leukoencephalopathy (PLOSL). Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms. Recombinant human TREM2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
