Description

RANTES, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

Chemokine for T cells, eosinophils, and basophils

Biomolecule/Target: RANTES

Alternates names: Small inducible cytokine A5, CCL5, T-cell-specific RANTES protein, SIS-delta, T cell- specific protein P228, TCP228, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 5, SISd, SCYA5, RANTES, D17S136E, MGC17164.

Synonyms: Small inducible cytokine A5, CCL5, T-cell-specific RANTES protein, SIS-delta, T cell- specific protein P228, TCP228, chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 5, SISd, SCYA5, RANTES, D17S136E, MGC17164.

Background Information: RANTES is a CC-chemokine that can signal through the CCR1, CCR3, CCR5 and US28 (cytomegalovirus receptor) receptors. It is a chemoattractant towards monocytes, memory T cells (CD4+/CD45RO), basophils, and eosinophils. RANTES also has the capability to inhibit certain strains of HIV-1, HIV-2 and simian immunodeficiency virus (SIV). Recombinant human RANTES is a 7.8 kDa protein containing 68 amino acid residues including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in the CC chemokines.

Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1 µg/µl. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°c for future use.
