Description
FGF-8, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A heparin binding growth factor, stimulating the proliferation and activation of cells expressing FGFR
Biomolecule/Target: FGF-8
Alternates names: Fibroblast Growth Factor-8, FGF-8b, AIGF, HBGF, Androgen-induced growth factor, Heparin-binding growth factor 8
Synonyms: Fibroblast Growth Factor-8, FGF-8b, AIGF, HBGF
Background Information: Fibroblast Growth Factor-8 (FGF-8) is also known as Androgen-induced Growth Factor (AIGF), a heparin binding growth factor, which stimulates the proliferation and activation of cells that express the FGF receptors. Recombinant human FGF-8 is a 22.4 kDa protein containing 193 amino acid residues.
Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in 5 mM Tris, pH 8.0 to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/ml. This solution can be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or -20°C for future use. Repeated freeze/thaw cycles will result in some loss of activity.
