Description

FGF-17, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

Promotes cellular proliferation and differentiation

Biomolecule/Target: FGF-17

Alternates names: Fibroblast Growth Factor-17, FGFH

Synonyms: Fibroblast Growth Factor-17, FGFH

Background Information: FGF-17 is a heparin binding growth factor that is a member of the FGF family. Proteins of this family play a central role during prenatal development and postnatal growth and regeneration of a variety of tissues, by promoting cellular proliferation and differentiation. FGF-17 signals through the FGFR 1c, 2c, 3c, and 4. FGF-17 signals induction and patterning of embryonic brain. Recombinant human FGF-17 is a 22.7 kDa protein consisting of 195 amino acid residues.

Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. Do not vortex. This solution can be stored at 2-8°C for up to 1 week. For extended storage, it is recommended to further dilute in a buffer containing a carrier protein (example 0.1% BSA) and store in working aliquots at -20°C to -80°C.
