Description

BMP-13, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

A TGF-beta family protein involved in patterning of the epidermis and bone & joint formation

Biomolecule/Target: BMP-13

Alternates names: bone morphogenetic protein 13, GDF-6, Cartilage-Derived Morphogenetic Protein-2, CDMP-2

Synonyms: bone morphogenetic protein 13, GDF-6, Cartilage-Derived Morphogenetic Protein-2, CDMP-2

Background Information: BMPs (bone morphogenetic proteins) belong to the TGF-b superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. These ligands mediate numerous physiological processes. BMPs initiate, promote and maintain cartilage and bone development, growth, remodeling and repair, in both prenatal development and postnatal growth of eye, heart, kidney, skin, and other tissues. Expression of BMP-13 has been found in the hypertrophic chondrocytes of ossifying long bone centers. BioVision’s recombinant human BMP-13/CDMP-2 is a 27 kDa homodimeric disulfide-linked protein consisting of two 120 amino acids polypeptide chains.

Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute to 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in H₂O containing BSA (50 μg BSA per 1 μg of protein).
