Description
BMP-11, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A protein that controls anterior-posterior patterning by regulating the expression of Hox genes
Biomolecule/Target: BMP-11
Alternates names: bone morphogenetic protein 11, BMP11, BMP 11, Growth/Differentiation Factor-11, GDF-11, GDF11, GDF 11
Synonyms: bone morphogenetic protein 11, BMP11, BMP 11, Growth/Differentiation Factor-11, GDF-11, GDF11, GDF 11
Background Information: BMPs (bone morphogenetic proteins) belong to the TGF-β superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. As implied by their name, BMPs promote and regulate bone development, growth, remodeling and repair, in both prenatal development and postnatal growth of eye, heart, kidney, skin, and other tissues. Recombinant human BMP-11 is N-terminus His-tagged protein with a molecular weight of 32.6 kDa (for homodimeric) and 16.2 (for monomeric) consisting of 136 amino acid polypeptide chains.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in H₂O containing BSA (50 μg BSA per 1 μg of protein). This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
