Description

Anti-D-Dimer Detection Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

Description: D-dimer is a protein fragment that is used as a biomarker to assess the activation of haemostatic system and fibrinolysis. This protein is formed as a consequence of enzymatic degradation of cross-linked fibrin by plasmin. D-dimer levels are elevated in the plasma after clot formation, at a concentration of ≤ 500 ng/ml, which is normal in healthy individuals. High levels of D-dimer (≥ 500 ng/ml) are present during cancer, infectious diseases, trauma, surgery and pregnancy. D-dimers are also used to assess deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism in patients.
