Description
Trypsin, Human Pancreas is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Hydrolyzes peptides, amides, and ester bonds involving the carboxyl groups of L-arginine or L-lysine
Biomolecule/Target: Trypsin
Alternates names: Beta-trypsin, Cationic trypsinogen, Serine protease 1, Trypsin I, PRSS1, TRP1, TRY1, TRYP1
Synonyms: Beta-trypsin, Cationic trypsinogen, Serine protease 1, Trypsin I, PRSS1, TRP1, TRY1, TRYP1
Background Information: Trypsin hydrolyzes peptides, amides, and ester bonds involving the carboxyl groups of L-arginine or L-lysine. Increased serum values of this enzyme and/or its zymogen (trypsinogen) have been found in patients with cystic fibrosis. Trypsinogen has three isoforms: cationic (trypsinogen 1), anionic (trypsinogen 2, MW - 22.5 kDa), and mesotrypsinogen (trypsinogen 3, MW - 25 kDa). The trypsin available from BioVision is the cationic form.
Reconstitution Instructions: In water or aqueous buffer
