Description
TGF-alpha, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A growth factor upregulated in some cancers
Biomolecule/Target: TGF-alpha
Alternates names: Transforming Growth Factor-α, Sacroma growth factor, TGF-type I, ETGF
Synonyms: Transforming Growth Factor-α, Sacroma growth factor, TGF-type I, ETGF
Background Information: Transforming Growth Factor-α (TGF-α) stimulates the proliferation of a wide range of epidermal and epithelial cells. TGF-α has been shown to play a role in the autocrine growth of certain transformed cells. Human TGF-α is a 5.5 kDa protein containing 50 amino acid residues.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. The solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and store at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use. For most in vitro applications, TGF-α exerts its biological activity in the concentration range of 0.5 to 25 ng/ml.
