Description
PDGF-AB, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A growth factor that regulates cell growth and division
Biomolecule/Target: PDGF-AB
Alternates names: Glioma-derived growth factor, GDGF, Osteosarcoma-derived Growth Factor, ODGF, PDGF-AB, Beta platelet-derived growth factor receptor, CD140 antigen-like family member B, Platelet-derived growth factor receptor 1
Synonyms: Glioma-derived growth factor, GDGF, Osteosarcoma-derived Growth Factor, ODGF, PDGF-AB.
Background Information: Platelet Derived Growth Factor (PDGF) is a potent mitogen for a wide range of cell types including fibroblasts, smooth muscle and connective tissue. PDGF, which is composed of a dimer of two chains termed the A chain and B chain, can be present as AA or BB homodimers or as an AB heterodimer. Human PDGF-AB is a 25.5 kDa heterodimer protein consisting of a 13.3 kDa A chain and a 12.2 kDa B chain.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in 10 mM acetic acid to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
