Description

IL-17A, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

A proinflammatory cytokine produced by activated T cells

Biomolecule/Target: IL-17A

Alternates names: IL17A/F, IL17 A/F, IL-17A/F Interleukin-17 A/F, Interleukin-17 AF, Cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated antigen 8

Synonyms: IL-17, CTLA-8

Background Information: The original described IL-17 protein, now known as IL-17A, was identified from a CD4+ T cells DNA library. IL-17 can be induced from primary peripheral blood CD4+ T cells upon stimulation. Supernatant from cells transfected with IL-17 induced IL-16 and IL-18 production and enhanced the surface expression of the intraCellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1) in human fibroblasts. Recombinant IL-17 is a 31 kDa disulfide-linked homodier of two 136 amino acid polypeptide chains.

Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. The solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
