Description
Human CellExp™ TPO, Human Recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Stimulates the proliferation and maturation of megakaryocytes
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Megakaryocyte colony-stimulating factor, Myeloproliferative leukemia virus oncogene ligand, C-mpl ligand, ML, Megakaryocyte growth and development factor, MGDF, TPO, MKCSF, MPLLG, MGC163194, THPO.
Synonyms: Human Cellexp Human Recombinant TPO
Background Information: TPO (Thrombopoietin, also known as Mpl-ligand, MGDF), a glycoprotein hormone produced mainly by the liver and the kidney, stimulates the proliferation and maturation of megakaryocytes and promotes increased circulating levels of platelets in vivo. TPO signals through the c-mpl receptor and acts as an important regulator of circulating platelets.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant human serum albumin.
NCBI Gene Symbol: THPO
Gene ID: 7066
NCBI Accession: P40225
