Background Information: Histidine decarboxylase is the only enzyme that is known to generate histamine. Histamine is important for signal transduction, immune response, and gastric acid secretion.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute the lyophilized protein in 50 mM Sodium Phosphate, 30% Glycerol and 5 mM BME at 0.5 mg/ml. Incubate the reconstituted protein at 25°C for 15 minutes.
