Description
GOT1, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles.
Biomolecule/Target: GOT1
Alternates names: Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 1, Aspartate aminotransferase 1, Transaminase A, GIG18
Synonyms: Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase 1, Aspartate aminotransferase 1, Transaminase A, GIG18
Background Information: Glutamic-oxaloacetic transaminase (GOT) is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent enzyme which exists in cytoplasmic and mitochondrial forms, GOT1 and GOT2, respectively. GOT plays a role in amino acid metabolism and the urea and tricarboxylic acid cycles. The two enzymes are homodimeric and show close homology. Recombinant human GOT1, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography.
