Description

CD40Ligand/TRAP, murine recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.

A protein primarily expressed on activated T cells and involved in immune functions

Biomolecule/Target: CD40Ligand/TRAP

Alternates names: CD40-L, Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 5, TNF-related activation protein, TRAP, T cell antigen Gp39, CD154 antigen, sCD40, IGM, IMD3, HIGM1, T-BAM, TNFSF5, hCD40L.

Synonyms: CD40-L, Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 5, TNF-related activation protein, TRAP, T cell antigen Gp39, CD154 antigen, sCD40, IGM, IMD3, HIGM1, T-BAM, TNFSF5, hCD40L.

Background Information: CD40 Ligand (CD40L/TRAP) is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein belonging to the TNF superfamily of ligands. Natually, CD40L is a membrane-bound protein, but proteolytically cleaved 15-18 kDa soluble forms of CD40L are also fully active. CD40L plays an important role in the proliferation and differentiation of B-cells, and is critical for immunoglobulin (Ig) class switching. Recombinant murine CD40 Ligand is a soluble 18 kDa protein containing 149 amino acid residues comprising the receptor binding TNF-like domain of CDE40L.

Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. The solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
