Description
C5a, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A potent chemotactic factor for human peripheral blood neutrophils and monocytes
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: C5a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor, C5a anaphylatoxin chemotactic receptor (C5a-R), (C5aR,) (CD antigen CD88), C5AR1, C5AR, C5R1
Synonyms: Recombinant human C5a
Background Information: Human complement C5a is a 74-amino acid glycopeptide generated during complement activation from the α-chain of complement C5. C5a is a potent chemotactic factor for human peripheral blood neutrophils and monocytes, and is believed to play an important role in a number of inflammatory conditions. The 74 amino acid, human C5a protein expressed in E. coli has an activity similar to that of serum derived C5a based on enzyme assay of myeloperoxidase release.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml in ice-cold H₂O containing 2.5 mg/ml BSA. The solution should be aliquoted and immediately stored at -70°C for future use. Frozen/thaw will result in some loss of activity.
