Description
BMP-6, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Induces all osteogenic markers in mesenchymal stem cells.
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: VGR, VGR1, BMP-6, VG-1-related protein
Synonyms: VGR, VGR1, BMP-6
Background Information: BMPs (bone morphogenetic proteins) belong to the TGF-β superfamily of structurally related signaling proteins. As implied by their name, BMPs promote and regulate bone development, growth, remodeling and repair, in both prenatal development and postnatal growth of eye, heart, kidney, skin, and other tissues. Recombinant human BMP-6 produced from E. coli contains a mixture of monomer (15 kDa), dimer (30 kDa), and multimers. The dimer is an active polypeptide chain containing 2X142 amino acid residues.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in sterile 20 mM acetic acid. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
