Description
Inositol Triphosphate (IP3) ELISA Kitis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.
A Competitive ELISA kit for in vitro quantitative determination of IP3 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids..
Description:
Inositol trisphosphate receptors are Ca2+ channels that function to release Ca2+ from the endoplasmic reticulum in response to a wide array of hormones, growth factors, and neurotransmitters. Many fundamental biological processes that are activated or regulated by Ca2+ signals require IP3R function. These include such critical functions as secretion, smooth muscle contraction, gene transcription, and fertilization. Aberrant function of IP3Rs may contribute to the pathogenesis of several diseases. BioVision’s IP3 ELISA Kit is based on Competitive ELISA principle. The micro-plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with IP3. During the reaction, IP3 in the samples or standard competes with IP3 coated on the plate for binding to the anti-IP3 antibody. Then Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each micro plate well, and TMB substrate is for color development. There is a negative correlation between the OD value of samples and the concentration of IP3. The concentration of IP3 in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
Applications: in vitro quantitative determination of IP3 concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids.
Sample Typ:e Plasma, Serum, Other biological fluids
Alternate Name: Inositol trisphosphate, inositol 1, 4, 5-trisphosphate, triphosphoinositol, InsP3, Ins3P, IP3
