Description

Lipocalin-2/NGAL (Mouse) ELISA Kitis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

A Sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Lipocalin-2 in mouse serum, plasma, culture supernatants and other biological fluids..

Description:

NGAL is involved in innate immunity by sequestrating iron that in turn limits bacterial growth. It is expressed in neutrophils and in low levels in the kidney, prostate, and epithelia of the respiratory and alimentary tracts. NGAL is used as a biomarker of kidney injury. Iron-trafficking protein involved in multiple processes such as apoptosis, innate immunity and renal development. Involved in apoptosis due to interleukin-3 (IL3) deprivation: iron-loaded form increases intracellular iron concentration without promoting apoptosis, while iron-free form decreases intracellular iron levels, inducing expression of the proapoptotic protein BCL2L11/BIM, resulting in apoptosis. BioVision’s Lipocalin-2 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of Lipocalin-2 in mouse serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of Lipocalin-2 captured from the samples.

Applications: This ELISA kit is used for quantitative measurement of Lipocalin-2 in serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

Sample Typ:e Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
