Description

Folylpolyglutamate Synthase (FPGS) (Human) ELISA Kitis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

A sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of FPGS in serum, plasma, culture supernatants and other biological fluids..

Description:

Folylpolyglutamate synthase (FPGS) catalyzes conversion of folates to polyglutamate derivatives allowing concentration of folate compounds in the cell and the intracellular retention of these cofactors, which are important substrates for most of the folate-dependent enzymes that are involved in one-carbon transfer reactions involved in purine, pyrimidine and amino acid synthesis. Unsubstituted reduced folates are the preferred substrates. Metabolizes methotrexate (MTX) to polyglutamates.. BioVision’s FPGS (Folic acid polyglutamate) ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of FPGS in human serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of FPGS captured from the samples.

Applications: This ELISA kit is used for quantitative measurement of FPGS in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

Sample Typ:e Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.

Alternate Name: FPGS (Human) ELISA Kit

Features and Benefits:

Easy, convenient and time-saving method to measure the level of FPGS in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids. Detection Range: 15.6 - 1000 pg/ml Sensitivity: < 9.375 pg/ml Assay Precision: Intra-Assay: CV < 8%; Inter-Assay: CV < 10% This assay has high sensitivity and excellent specificity for detection of FPGS. No significant cross-reactivity or interference between FPGS and analogues was observed.
