Description

RasGAP Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

Description: The mammalian proto-oncogene Ras encodes 21 kDa proteins (p21Ras) which exists in either a physiologically quiescent GDP-binding state or a GTPbinding signal-emitting state. Interaction of p21Ras with GTPase activating protein (GAP) can increase hydrolysis of p21Ras-bound GTP by as much as 1000-fold. The product of the neurofibromatosis type 1 gene (NF1) has also been shown to exhibit p21Ras GAP activity.

Immunogen Sequence:Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 1025 of human RasGAP

Target Alternative Name:RASGAP, p120GAP , RASA1, RASA, CMAVM, CM-AVM , PKWS , p120GAP, DKFZp434N071

Species Reactivities:Human, mouse, rat, bovine

Tag Line:/

Formulation:30 µg (0.2 mg/ml) protein A purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, and 0.01% thimerosal.

Purification: Affinity purified

Application:Western blot, Immunoprecipitation, Immunohistochemistry

Positive Control:/

Application And Usages:Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml) and in immunoprecipitation (10-20 µg/ml) and Immunohistochemistry (10-20 µg/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. Jurkat cell lysate can be used as a positive control. The antibody recognizes ~120 kDa Ras GAP of human, mouse, rat, and bovine origins.

Handling:The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
