Description

Presenilin 2 Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

Description: Presenilin 1 and presenilin 2 are transmembrane proteins belonging to the presenilin family. Mutation of presenilin genes has been linked to early onset of Alzheimer’s disease, probably functioning throμgh its associated g-secretase activity for amyloid-β protein processing. Endogenous presenilin mainly exists in a heterodimeric complex formed from the endoproteolytically processed N-terminal (34 kDa) and C-terminal (~20 kDa) fragments.

Immunogen Sequence:Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 333 of human presenilin 2

Target Alternative Name:PSEN1

Species Reactivities:Human, mouse, rat

Tag Line:/

Formulation:100 µg (0.5 mg/ml) peptide affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 50% glycerol, 1% BSA, and 0.02% thimerosal.

Purification: Affinity purified

Application:Western blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunoprecipitation

Positive Control:/

Application And Usages:Western blotting (2-4 µg/ml), immunoprecipitation (20 µg/ml), and Immunohistochemistry (20 µg/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes Presenilin 2 of human, mouse, and rat origins. Reactivity to other species has not been tested.

Handling:The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
