Description
MMP-12 Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.
Description: The matrix metalloproteinases (MMP) are a family of peptidase enzymes responsible for the degradation of extracellular matrix components, including collagen, gelatin, fibronectin, laminin and proteoglycan. Transcription of MMP genes is differentially activated by phorbol ester, lipopolysaccharide (LPS) or staphylococcal enterotoxin B (SEB). MMP catalysis requires both calcium and zinc. MMP-12 may contribute to elastin degradation occurring in granulomatous skin diseases and may also participate in macrophage migration throμgh the epidermal and vascular basement membranes in inflammatory disorders.
Immunogen Sequence:Synthetic peptide surrounding amino acid 460 of human MMP-12
Target Alternative Name:MMP12, MMP-12, MMP 12, matrix metalloproteinases 12, matrix metalloproteinases -12, matrix metalloproteinases 12
Species Reactivities:Human, mouse
Tag Line:/
Formulation:30 µg (0.5 mg/ml) affinity purified rabbit polyclonal antibody in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol and 0.02% thimerosal.
Purification: Affinity purified
Application:Western blot, Immunohistochemistry
Positive Control:/
Application And Usages:Western blotting (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal concentrations should be determined individually. Mouse small intestine tissue lysate can be used as a positive control. The antibody recognizes the MMP-12 of human and mouse origins.
