Description
Cytochrome c Antibody (Clone 7H8.2C12)is available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.
Description: Cytochrome c (m.w. 12,500) is an electron transport protein from mitochondria. It is released from mitochondria to cytoplasm during the early stages of apoptosis, prior to caspase activation, DNA fragmentation, and loss of membrane potential. The cytoplasmic cytochrome c is associated with Apaf-1 and caspase-9 to activate caspase-3 and other caspases.
Immunogen Sequence:Pigeon cytochrome c
Target Alternative Name:CYCS, CYC
Species Reactivities:Human, mouse, rat
Tag Line:/
Formulation:100 µg (0.2 mg/ml) purified IgG in PBS containing 50% glycerol, 0.5 % BSA and 0.01% Thimerosal and 50% glycerol
Purification: Affinity purified
Application:Western blot
Positive Control:/
Application And Usages:Western blot analysis (0.5-4 µg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody detects a 12.0 kDa protein corresponding to the apparent molecular weight of cytochrome c.
Handling:The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
