Description

Citrullinated Histone H1.4 (R53) Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

Description: Histone H1.4 is a nuclear protein that binds to linker DNA between nucleosomes to form chromatin fibers. Histone H1.4 is expressed in most somatic cell types, and is necessary for the ordering of nucleosomes into higher-order structures and the compaction of chromatin into its condensed form. The arginine at position 53 can be citrullinated by protein-arginine deiminase 4 (PAD4), which releases Histone H1.4 from the histone complex, leading to chromatin decondensation. Aberrations in Histone H1.4 has been linked to intellectual disability disorders such as Rahman Syndrome.
