Description

Anti-Influenza B Virus Mouse IgG2b Detection Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.

Description: Influenza viruses are enveloped, negative sense single stranded RNA viruses. These viruses belong to the family of Orthomyxoviridae. There are 4 types of Influenza viruses: A, B, C and Thogotovirus, of which, type A & B are clinically relevant to humans. Influenza B virus is similar in structure to Influenza A virus, however, there exist a few differences between the A and B virus. Unlike the A virus, the B virus is not divided into subtypes. In fact, B virus has only two distinct genetic lineages in humans: Victoria and Yamagata lineage. Influenza B virus encodes two distinct genes: glycoprotein NB and BM2, and the translated proteins have very little sequence identity to Virus A proteins. Additionally, Influenza B virus is known to infect only humans, as opposed to A virus, which infects both animals and humans.
