Background Information: Human Secretin stimulates the secretion of bicarbonate by the pancreas and inhibits the production of gastrin and acid production in the stomach. It also potentiates the release of digestive enzymes from the pancreas triggered by cholecystokinin.
Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile dW to a concentration ≥ 100 µg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4 °C for 2-7 days and at -20 °C for future use.
