Description
PTH, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A hormone regulating serum calcium
Biomolecule/Target: PTH
Alternates names: Parathyrin, PTH, Parathormone
Synonyms: Parathyrin, PTH, Parathormone
Background Information: Parathyroid Hormone (PTH) is the most important endocrine regulator of calcium and phosphorus concentration in extraCellular fluid. This hormone is secreted from cells of the parathyroid glands and targets cells in bone and kidney. Like other protein hormones, parathyroid hormone is synthesized as a preprohormone. After intraCellular processing, the mature hormone is packaged within the Golgi into secretary vesicles and secreted into blood by exocytosis. Recombinant human PTH is a 9 kDa protein consisting of 84 amino acid residues.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at 4°C for 1 week or –20°C for future use.
