Description
Prokineticin-2, Human Recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A cysteine-rich secreted protein that function as an output molecule from the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN).
Biomolecule/Target: Prokineticin-2
Alternates names: PK2, Protein Bv8 homolog, PROK2
Synonyms: PK2, Protein Bv8 homolog, PROK2
Background Information: Prokineticin-2 (PK2) is a cysteine-rich secreted protein that is expressed in the testis and, in lower levels, in the small intestine. May function as an output molecule from the suprachiasmatic nucleus (SCN) that transmits behavioral circadian rhythm. May also function locally within the SCN to synchronize output. Potently contracts gastrointestinal (GI) smooth muscle.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in sterile deionized water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml
NCBI Gene Symbol: PROK2
Gene ID: 60675
NCBI Accession: Q9HC23
