Description
Nesfatin-1, mouse recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Responsible for regulating appetite and production of body fat
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Nesfatin 1, Nucleobindin-2, DNA-binding protein NEFA, Prepronefastin
Synonyms: Nesfatin 1
Background Information: Nesfatin-1, a polypeptide produced by cleavage of the NEFA/nucleobindin-2 (NUCB2), is a secreted protein, expressed in the appetite-control hypothalamic nuclei. Nesfatin is involved in the regulation of the feeding behavior. Intracerebroventicular injection of nesfatin-1 reduces body weight in rats be affecting the animal food intake.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute with sterile H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1 mg/ml. Further dilutions should be made with medium containing 0.2% BSA.
