Description
mCherry Fluorescent Protein is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Fluorescent protein ideal for subcellular labeling/visualization
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: mCherry
Synonyms: mCherry
Background Information: mCherry is the second generation monomeric red fluorescent protein that have improved brightness and photostability. The recombinant mCherry is expressed and purified from transformed E. coli using a method that ensures high purity and maximal fluorescence intensity. The protein is a 28.8 kDa monomer with 256 amino acids, pI: 6.23. Ex.= 587 nm (540-590 nm); Em.= 610 nm (550-650 nm). The protein is engineered with 6xHis-tag on the N-terminus, which can be used for detection with anti-His-Tag antibody (BioVision Cat # 3998-100) or protein purification/removal by using Ni++ beads.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute with dH₂O to 1 mg/ml
