Description
LBP, mouse recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Elicits immune responses by presenting LPS
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Lipopolysaccharide-binding protein, LBP, LBP human recombinant protein, LBP human, human LBP
Synonyms: LBP, recombinant LBP, recombinant lipo polysaccharide binding protein
Background Information: Natural LBP is a 58KD glycoprotein produced in liver. It binds at lipid A of LPS with high affinity (10-9M) and reduced the cellular LPS effects at CD14+ cells (IL1ß, IL6, TNFα). It acts as opsonin for GRAM negative cells, LPS, neutrophiles and granulocytes.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in 10 µl of ultra-pure distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers and stored at –20°C or –70°C for future use.
NCBI Gene Symbol: LBP
Gene ID: Mm.218846.
NCBI Accession: Q61805
