Description
Human CellExp™ EPO, Human Recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A glycoprotein hormone that controls erythropoiesis
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Erythropoietin-Alpha, EPO-a, EPO-alpha, Epoetin, EP, MGC138142.
Synonyms: Human Cellexp Human Recombinant EPO
Background Information: Erythropoietin is a member of the EPO/TPO family. EPO is found in the plasma and regulates red cell production by promoting erythroid differentiation and initiating hemoglobin synthesis. This protein also has neuroprotective activity against a variety of potential brain injuries and antiapoptotic functions in several tissue types.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free, recombinant human serum albumin.
NCBI Gene Symbol: EPO
Gene ID: 2056
NCBI Accession: P01588
