Description
GPT2/ALT2, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Catalyzes the reversible transamination between alanine and 2-oxoglutarate to form pyruvate and glutamate
Biomolecule/Target: GPT2/ALT2
Alternates names: Alanine aminotransferase 2, AAT2, ALT2
Synonyms: Alanine aminotransferase 2, AAT2, ALT2
Background Information: Alanine aminotransferase 2, also known as GPT2, catalyzes the reversible transamination between alanine and 2-oxoglutarate to form pyruvate and glutamate. Subsequently, they play a key role in the intermediary metabolism of glucose and amino acids. GPT2 expression is high in muscle, fat and kidney. Recombinant human GPT2 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
