Description
Fructose 1,6-bisphophatase 1, Active, Human Recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A full length, active Fructose 1,6-bisphophatase 1 acting as the rate-limiting step during gluconeogenesis.
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: FBP1, FBP, FBPase 1, Liver FBPase
Synonyms: FBP1, Fructose 1,6-bisphophatase 1, FBP, FBPase 1, Liver FBPase, D-fructose-1,6-bisphosphate 1-phosphohydrolase 1
Background Information: The conversion of fructose 1,6-bisphosphate to fructose 6 phosphate by fructose 1,6-bisphosphatase is the rate-limiting step during gluconeogenesis. The enzyme plays a role in regulating glucose sensing and insulin secretion of pancreatic beta-cells and modulates glycerol gluconeogenesis in liver. It is involved in regulation of adiposity and appetite.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in deionized water to a final concentration of 1.5 µg/ml.
