Description
FIBP, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Influences development, adult tissue homeostasis, angiogenesis and cancer progression
Biomolecule/Target: FIBP
Alternates names: Acidic fibroblast growth factor intracellular-binding protein, FGFIBP, FIBP-1
Synonyms: Acidic fibroblast growth factor intracellular-binding protein, FGFIBP, FIBP-1
Background Information: Acidic fibroblast growth factor intracellular-binding protein isoform a, also known as FIBP, is a member of Fibroblast growth factors (FGFs) represent a family. FGF activity influences development, adult tissue homeostasis, angiogenesis and cancer progression. FIBP is a 364 amino acid protein that binds to internalized FGF-1 and is thought to be involved in mitogenic function of FGF-1. FIBP localizes to the nucleus and is highly expressed in heart, skeletal muscle and pancreas and at lower levels in brain, placenta, liver and kidney. Recombinant human FIBP protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
