Description
FABP1, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A cytoplasmic protein that binds long-chain fatty acids and other hydrophobic ligands
Biomolecule/Target: FABP1
Alternates names: Fatty acid-binding protein 1 liver, L-FABP, FABPL, FABP-1, FABP1, Z-protein.
Synonyms: Fatty acid-binding protein 1 liver, L-FABP, FABPL, FABP-1, FABP1, Z-protein.
Background Information: Human Fatty Acid Binding Protein-s exhibit high affinity for small lipophilic ligands. Studies suggest that FABPs are involved in the uptake and metabolism of fatty acids, maintenance of Cellular membrane fatty acids levels, intraCellular trafficking, modulation of specific enzymes of lipid metabolic pathways, as well as in the modulation of cell growth and differentiation. Recombinant human FABP-1 was expressed from E. coli and purified through proprietary method.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in H₂O to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers
NCBI Gene Symbol: FABP1
