Description
Eotaxin/CCL11, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A chemokine characterized by its high chemotactic selectivity for eosinophils
Biomolecule/Target: Eotaxin
Alternates names: Eotaxin, C-C motif chemokine 11, Eosinophil chemotactic protein, Small-inducible cytokine A11
Synonyms: human Eotaxin
Background Information: Eotaxin is a recently discovered chemokine characterized by its high chemotactic selectivity for eosinophils. The position of the four cystein residues in Eotaxin places it in the C-C family of chemokines, along with chemokines such as RANTES, MCP-3, and MIP-1 alpha. The human Eotaxin is an 8.3 kDa protein containing 74 amino acid residues. The sequence of the first five N-terminal amino acids is Gly-Pro-Ala-Ser-Val.
Reconstitution Instructions: The lyophilized Eotaxin can be reconstituted in water to a concentration of 0.1-1 µg/µl. It is recommended that further dilutions be made into buffer containing carrier protein or medium containing serum.
