Description
BTC, human recombinant is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
A ligand for the EGF receptor
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Betacellulin, BTC, Probetacellulin
Synonyms: Betacellulin, BTC
Background Information: Human Betacellulin (BTC) is a potent mitogen for retinal pigment epithelial cells and vascular smooth muscle cells. The effects of betacellulin are probably mediated by the egf receptor and other related receptors. Human Recombinant BTC produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 80 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 9 kDa. BTC was purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
Reconstitution Instructions: Centrifuge the vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile distilled H₂O to a concentration ≥ 100 µg/ml. This solution can then be diluted into other aqueous buffers.
NCBI Gene Symbol: BTC
