Description
Apolipoprotein CI, Human Plasma is available at Gentaur for Next week delivery.
Transportor of lipids through the lymphatic and circulatory systems
Biomolecule/Target:
Alternates names: Apolipoprotein CI, apolipoprotein, apolipoproteins
Synonyms: Apolipoprotein CI
Background Information: Apolipoprotein CI is one of the protein components of VLDL lipoprotein. The normal plasma concentration of Apo CI is 4-7 mg per 100 ml. Elevated levels of Apo CI may offer some protection from obesity and insulin-dependent diabetes. Some evidence exists that the Apo CI H2 gene is positively associated with late-onset Alzheimer's disease.
Reconstitution Instructions: Reconstitute in 100 μl of ddH₂O. Additional dilutions can be prepared in 10 mM NH4HCO3 , pH 7.4.
NCBI Gene Symbol: APOC1
Gene ID: 341
NCBI Accession: P02654
