Description
Renin (Rat) ELISA Kitis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.
A Sandwich ELISA kit applies for in vitro quantitative determination of Rat Renin concentrations in serum, plasma and other biological fluids..
Description:
Renin is a highly specific endopeptidase with only known function is to generate angiotensin I from angiotensinogen in the plasma, initiating a cascade of reactions that produce an elevation of blood pressure and increased sodium retention by the kidney. BioVision's Renin ELISA kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in the kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat Renin. On addition of standards or samples to the micro ELISA plate, they react with Biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat Renin and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate, which on the addition of substrate gives blue color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution to turn the reaction yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of the Rat Renin. The concentration of Rat Renin in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
