Description
NRXN1 (Human) ELISA Kitis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.
A Sandwich ELISA kit for quantitative measurement of NRXN1 in human serum, plasma, tissue lysates, and other biological fluids.
Description:
Neurexin 1 (NRXN1) belongs to the large family of neurexin proteins whose main function is to act as presynaptic cell adhesion molecule and receptor in the vertebrate nervous system. NRXN1 mediates the assembly and maturation of synapses. It also binds to postsynaptic neuroligins in a Ca2+ dependent manner. The formation of Neurexin/Neuroglin complexes regulates the development of glutamatergic and GABAnergic synapses that help regulate the excitatory and inhibitory activity of synapses. Deletions in NRXN1 are associated with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism, schizophrenia, and Pitt-Hopkins-like syndrome. A recent study demonstrated that NRXN1 could be a promising target for antibody-drug conjugate therapy against small cell lung cancer (SCLC). BioVision’s NRXN1 (Human) ELISA kit is based on the Sandwich ELISA principle to quantitatively measure the concentration of NRXN1 in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. Test samples, Standards, and Biotinylated Detection antibody are added to the wells pre-coated with capture antibody and then washed with Wash Buffer. The HRP-Streptavidin is added and any unattached conjugates are washed off using Wash Buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected by the addition of TMB-substrate. Finally, the reaction is terminated with an acidic stop solution. The color developed is proportional to the concentration of NRXN1 in the sample or standard.
