Description
Luciferase Antibodyis available at Gentaur for Next week Delivery.
Description: The Firefly luciferase is a genetically modified variant derived from the Luciferase of Diaphanes pectinealis endemic to Yunnan province, China. It has been modified to provide enhanced stability compared to the normal phenotype of Photinus pyralis as well as a broader and more physiologically relevant effective pH range. Luciferase has been used as a sensitive reporter for studying gene regulation and function. Firefly luciferase catalyzes the oxidative carboxylation of luciferin, a reaction with the highest efficiency of any known bioluminescence reaction.
Immunogen Sequence:Recombinant Chinese Firefly luciferase
Target Alternative Name:Chinese Firefly luciferase
Species Reactivities:Luciferase
Tag Line:/
Formulation:In phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) containing 30% glycerol, 0.5% BSA, 5 mM EDTA and 0.03% proclin.
Purification: Affinity purified
Application:Western blot
Positive Control:Chinese Firefly luciferase (Cat.# 7901-150)
Application And Usages:Western blotting (0.5-4 μg/ml). However, the optimal conditions should be determined individually. The antibody recognizes Chinese firefly luciferase. Cross-reactivity to other types of Luciferases have not been determined. Recombinant Chinese firefly luciferase (Cat.# 7901-5) can be used as a positive control.
Handling:The antibody solution should be gently mixed before use.
